Home and Living: Thank God It’s Friday!

Hi! Mommies, I am sure that you are equally ecstatic to reach the last working day of the week. Longer sleeps, family bonding in front of the telly, and home cooked meals (or delivery!). It’s amazing how fast days go by and how busy we can become juggling motherhood and work. If you are like me who work from home, I am sure you are excited to get out of your home office and actually be at home. Surely you know what I mean!

Aside from the weekend, there is so much to be thankful for. Here is my gratitude list:

1. My assistant who takes care of my son very well and in turn, lets me focus on my work.

2. My work who gives me more financial freedom

3. The opportunities I’ve been blessed with

4. My husband who easily puts Ashton to sleep

5. And of course, Ashton who makes everything worth it! 🙂

Also I am super thankful for my addiction – The Today Show! It’s just great I am able to watch it live from Manila and it is just packed with all the information I like. Current news, celebrity news, and inspirational stories that touch moms like me. Last night they showed a little boy who spent most of his time in the hospital with nurses in uniforms , orange scrubs and scrub clothes. After two years or so, the little boy was cleared of cancer and never did he complain with his treatments.

Sometimes I complain a lot, usually for stress inducers like annoying people but whenever I see stories like that I feel guilty for even having the guts to complain. So this weekend, list down what you are thankful for and even if you are not spending the day in an expensive spa or hotel – be happy for all the blessings you received! 🙂
