Our baby is now 11 weeks! Everything is happening so fast, weeks ago it was just a tiny embryo. My hips, back, and everything else are hurting much but with the support of family and friends, it’s very easy to pass by.
In a not-so surprising turn of events, my workplace did not renew my contract after I informed them that I was pregnant. It sucks because pregnant women need to save all the more but companies are scared of giving out benefits or having to face a maternity leave. I would say it is unfair but I also believe of letting go.
Maybe my baby and I need the rest we can get during this time and at least they paid my whole December even if I am not working.
I also thought of what ifs like what if I didn’t tell them but I am not good in lying and I don’t want my baby to feel that I am hiding it.
Anyway, last week – I browsed through baby things over at Hello Kitty exhibit in Mall of Asia. Everything made me really excited but I didn’t get anything yet. Everything came in pink and blue but I am not sure what the gender is. Next week, we’ll finally hear baby’s heartbeat.
Then, we are heading to In My Womb to get a 4D ultrasound. Very excited, I can’t wait to see what our baby looks like and have the peace of mind that it is doing fine 🙂
