Yesterday I finally got to Rustan’s to check out their baby section, just to window shop – no purchases yet! 🙂 I read that they have Boppy Pillows in stock that came with a bag and two pillow cases. However, the saleslady said that they no longer sell Boppy Pillows (the brand) but a new nursing/breastfeeding pillow called My Brestfriend.

It costs a whopping Php 4,000 + and is the most expensive pillow I have seen to date. The material is really sturdy and you can feel that it will give more than enough support for the baby. My Brestfriend’s size is larger which means more space for the baby and your arms. A strap is provided to tie around the waist for a more secure feeding.
If you are lucky to have extra money or fairy godmothers perhaps, then My Brestfriend is a good buy! It reads: #1 choice of lactation specialists.
On the far end of the price spectrum for nursing pillows is the one I found in Landmark Department Store. This only costs Php 299 and is similar to the Php 500 pillows I found in SM Department Store. The material is the same as the regular pillows which works for some moms.
It’s really confusing to buy but quality wise, I would go for the expensive but sturdy ones if given the chance. How about you? 🙂
