I was really excited to attend this event because I always feel better when I am surrounded by young mommies like me. Finally, it feels like you are not alone in dealing with the challenges of motherhood including breastfeeding. Thanks to breastfeeding support groups and organizations like UNICEF, more and more moms are making the right choice.
My aunt Helen came with me and Ashton, this is our photo with other mommy bloggers
The breastfeeding forum was very engaging, it dealt on topics like how to fight for you right to express milk at work, daddies’ role in breastfeeding their babies, how to increase your milk supply, and the right clothes and tools for easy breastfeeding.
The guy on the right is Daddy Az
My super husband decided to join us and Ashton and I are very proud he won the contest! He really knows how to change diapers, onesies, and booties 🙂
I want her shirt!
Model moms also strut their style on the stage with chic maternity clothes and nursing wear. I wished I wore one of my colorful cashmere sweaters because it was really cold in the venue.
Booths of momtrepreneurs were also present offering exciting and practical products for mommies
Baby Ashton feeding during the event, it was about breastfeeding afterall!
The event You & Me & Mommy was made possible by UNICEF and SM where mommies are free to breastfeed ANYWHERE. SM also put up breastfeeding stations in most of their malls, we hope though that these stations be improved and not be mixed with the mall clinics for our baby’s health. Thank you to all the organizations and entities for helping moms with their advocacy and in educating the public about breastfeeding!
