Baby’s Playtime

I was getting a bit upset that the baby mobile attached to the crib is not being used as much. When my mom bought it for Ashton, he could hardly see and wouldn’t stare at the toys attached on the strings. Also, we found it easier to co-sleep with the baby and so the crib is not being used as well.

Until yesterday, my husband put Ashton down on the crib and turned the baby mobile on.

Now Ashton can see the toys clearly at 3 months, he gets super excited whenever the toys circle on top of him. His legs move as if he is wearing snow sleds and he coos at the different shapes.

So moms, don’t get sad when toys aren’t being enjoyed by the babies yet. We’d have to remind ourselves that babies don’t have fully developed visions until they get to around 2-3 months.

Most importantly, don’t forget to take a picture of your baby enjoying his toys for the first time! 🙂
