Home & Living: The Fascinating Womanhood and Baby Wise

Books are such bestfriends, especially to moms who want the best for their marriage, babies, and family. It’s easy to be flooded with information and go home with tons of books, some you’d never even read. If there is one book I’d advise any wife and mother to read it is The Fascinating Womanhood by Helen Andelin.

My influential friend, Jennie introduced it to me and it has changed my life starting from page 1. Parents are the foundation of kids and it is important to have a loving relationship between spouses. It all starts on understanding the difference between man and woman. I know it sounds old-school cheesy, my marriage is not perfect but I have never been happier.

Today I had the chance to meet Jennie again. Both of us are mommy bloggers working from home and we had an event to attend to.  She once again told me about Baby Wise, which I never really bought despite her recommendations. Before we parted ways, Jennie lead the way to the bookstore and purchased the book for me 🙂

Baby Wise is a controversial book but as many readers realized, the lessons held true. I haven’t started reading it yet but with every book, I’ll read with an open mind. Like with Fascinating Womanhood, I cringed at the first pages but when I experimented and applied the teachings in real life, I proved myself wrong.

Thank you Jennie for your book recommendations! Visit her blog http://marriageandbeyond.com 🙂

I am expecting to turn more pages as a mom, including books on Math questions, Prime numbers, and even on Geometry help once Ashton starts going to school.
