If you really love yourself and your family, you will give importance to the health of the whole family. If you are all healthy, active and strong, definitely you will enjoy life to the fullest. You can be productive, efficient and less prone to illness. I really love my husband and son thats why I make sure that they take their vitamins, drink lots of water, exercise and they eat nutritious foods. Sorry if il always use the word love, because for me, whatever your reasons and whatever things you do to be healthy, the bottom line of this is LOVE!

In a culture like ours where life is made convenient by cars, cell phones, TV, fast food, etc, it is very important that we choose a healthy and active lifestyle. With a toddler that requires constant attention (no yaya pa rin), I manage to do my own type of exercise indoors like running the stairs up & down (after warm-ups) and prepare home-cooked veggie meals instead of ordering deliveries.

Do Exercise! walking! everyday i go to the office, instead of riding a jeep, i will just walk (around 5 blocks) as my morning exercise. this will help improve your joints and maintain our flexibility as we age.Do not smoke! smoking can cause you shortness on breathing ( madali kang hingalin) . that’s why i quit smoking, bad for your health, maybe you cannot see it now but sooner or later you will see the effect in your body.
Give yourself a balance diet! make sure to eat fruits and vegetables! as this will give your body vitamins that you need to stay healthy.always keep a happy and positive outlook in life as this is the key to a happy, healthy and fit lifestyle.

I am starting to be more active and adopt a more healthy lifestyle…all because of my Maia. so that i can be with her more and guide her through her growing years. i wish to be there for her through good and bad. it is also important that i teach her the value of health by leading a more active lifestyle and by choosing more healthy alternatives.
I stopped smoking this month. i just stopped taking my daily cup of coffee. i’ve also resolved to ONLY drink sodas and to eat sweet desserts during special occasions/ events.
I keep myself active by dancing to barney songs with my maia π
