Got this in my email one night while working on my blogs.
He has been requesting for this for months now but I always forget to grab the ingredients from the grocery. I do not know what it is called but he has fond memories of this dish. I hope they don’t mind if I share the recipe. Just going through it would give you an idea how sweet and sour flavors envelope the juicy chicken.
Coladilla’s Pineapple Chicken Recipe
2 1/2 kg chicken
butter
6 garlic chopped
2 med onion chopped
2 tbsp vinegar
Salt & Pepper
1 can pineapple chunk
Grated cheese
Sausage
Saute garlic, onion in butter. Throw in chicken until brown then pour in the pineapple chunks together with its juice. Work in 2 tbsp of vinegar, do not cover then bring to a boil.
Dash with salt according to taste, put in the grated cheese. Simmer for 30 minutes in low fire and finally, put in the diced sausages. Dash with pepper. Enjoy.
I do not have a final product yet because I haven’t tried cooking it haha 🙂 Maybe this week. This is one of those foods that burn fat, especially it has a fiber-filled fruit pineapple.
