Last 24 May, Ashton celebrated his second year on planet earth! 🙂
His guests of honors are Spongebob and Patrick Starfish . It was a simple terrestrial celebration at home, especially Ashton was experiencing “growing fever”. My young-ling is really growing up fast and has learned so much already at a very young age. I always pray he’ll become even smarter as he grows.
He loves to count, sing, dance, and read.
His favorite book is “Thank you God for my Mommy”
He calls me “mi-mi”
His favorite food is spaghetti and french fries
His favorite song to dance to is “Fly, fly, the butterfly”
His favorite place to play is in SM’s Wonderland.
He is still breastfeeding – now beyond 2 years!
He is afraid of lizards but likes them from afar
He loves to play with cars and airplanes
Unlike his first birthday, this was less emotional for me as a mommy. I am trying to get used to the idea that babies grow up just like normal human beings and as they do, they start to explore other territories possibly a bit away from their mammal mothers. I like to focus on the time we have now and the good influence we have on Ashton while his brain is in “sponge mode”.
If future Ashton will read this, I want to thank you for being a good baby and for giving me direction, courage, strength and lots of faith. I am not the person I am today without you. Mommy loves you always and don’t forget to drink lots of water 🙂
