One of the many joys of having kids is being able to dress them up! Especially when they are still babies, they can’t really complain on what you’d like them to wear 🙂
Now that my baby boy is 3 months old, more items fit him well and I like onesies because they’re comfy and easy to wear. At first look, you’d think onesies are complicated – I did. I guess here in the Philippines, the usual baby clothes are the tie-sides and then shorts for the bottoms. With onesies, it’s a complete top and bottom wear that’s not too warm for the baby. The baby’s stomach is also prevented from showing up and getting gas.
Ashton comfy in his plain white onesie.
And I’ve started shopping for some statement onesies like this. It says “made in the Philippines” haha 🙂 I think statement tees are cute on babies but not on adults.
When Ashton grows a little bit more, I like him to wear collared polo shirts because they look preppy. And then some more statement tees like these that you can get from Big & Small Co. in Greenbelt 5. I think they also have hats and caps to complete your kid’s look. I wish to see items inspired by equestrian clothing, they’ll look super cute on Ashton!
There was also this time when I just couldn’t find statement tees that says “mommy”, baby clothes in the department store always had “daddy” printed on them. hmph. I hope this is still available at Big & Small. The last time I went there, I was still 8 months pregnant.
These are the Dare to be Different shirts from Big & Small, every time you buy a shirt – you support a cause for differently-abled children 🙂
