Ashton, my 4 month old has started to learn how to lie on his stomach. It’s fun to watch him try to flip from side to side and he groans or cries in frustration.
Sometimes, I help him a little by nudging him. That way, he finally is on his tummy. When Ash was just 3 months, I’ve started putting him on his stomach. This minimizes having a cone-shaped head and Ashton’s head is a bit flat on right side. It was his favorite side to lie on before, now he likes the left side.
Babies like to sleep on their stomachs sometimes, just make sure you are supervising them. Never let them sleep like this at the same time you are sleeping. They might face down and get suffocated.
At 4 months, Ashton sleeps uninterrupted in the wee hours which is absolutely great. When he is awake, he giggles and wiggles his feet actively at the sight of people and toys.
He likes doing pouty lips like mommy and now, he purses his lower lip and make a smacking sound. Maybe he is talking soon. More than ever, Ashton likes to suck on his hands thus wetting his shirt and arms eternally. He also likes tugging his shirt and other people’s shirt. Most times, he tugs his shirt upward exposing his “abs”.
So adorable and just the right size!
I think I should train him to hand-suck less so his speech development won’t be delayed. Earlier, Ashton started to bite hard at my nipples while breastfeeding. Uh-oh. I just cover his nose with my finger so he’ll open his mouth and my nips are free at last.
At 4 months, what were your baby’s accomplishments? Let me know while I read carinsurancelist.com for now 🙂
