On January 23, Cream Silk hosted an event especially made for the Modern Filipinas. Cream Silk Transformations was attended by Cream Silk users, beauty experts, and people from the press.
WATCH: Cream Sik Hair Transformations Experience
I like how Cream Silk opened this event for real users by running a simple Instagram contest that attracted top answers on how to transform into a #ModernFilipina in 2016. Sixty VIP passes were given out to winners and like me, got to experience #CreamSilkTransformations at the World Trade Center.
FREE Hair & Make Up by Beauty Experts
Here’s my post hair & make up look after availing the free hair & make-up makeover during the event. The lines were long but like other ladies who want to learn how to transform to be at their best, lining up was worth it – especially with the friendly & beautiful crowd of Modern Filipinas.
The beauty experts also talked up on “how to double up” like using lip & cheek mouse in one, and a hair conditioner and hair treatment in one like Cream Silk.
Beyond Beautiful Workshops
There were at least five beauty & self-improvement workshops during the event. These were hosted by industry leaders and top Philippine fashion and lifestyle magazines: Yes!, Metro, Cosmopolitan, Preview, Meg, and Mega. I attended Meg’s “Ready-Set-Work: Unlockin the Girl Boss in You” with Danni Baretto sharing tips on how to break the mould, handling challenges as a blogger, and being confident in yourself to achieve your dreams.
First-Ever Live Cover Shoot Experience
As if the event can’t get even better, Cream Silk (and as promised) treated attendees with a surprise live cover shoot experience that feature Modern Filipina celebrities. I really did not expect to see Nadine Lustre, Heart Evangelista, Julie Anne San Jose, Coleen Garcia, Yassi Pressman, and Rachelle Anne Go in the flesh. I was absolutely starstruck and at the same time, inspired by their own transformations.
Homecoming of Pia Wurtzbach
After presenting the five Filipina celebrities, everyone was surprised again as Cream Silk unveiled Miss Universe, Pia Wurtzbach who just arrived from New York. Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach shared her own #CreamSilkTransformations at her first public appearance in Manila saying, “I want to be an inspiration to everyone to not give up on their dreams.”
Cream Silk Transformations is truly a one-of-a-kind amazing experience, perhaps the most beautiful night that gathered beautiful Modern Filipinas inside and out. If you missed this event, be sure to follow Cream Silk on Facebook and Cream Silk on Instagram for the next leg of Modern Filipina events.
