We stayed in Tagaytay for the Holy Week and we were surprised to see Ayala Mall Serin already open. This is just right beside Lourdes Church and resembles The District malls, only this one is bigger and better. I always appreciate Ayala’s way of incorporating nature into their developments, the vibe is relaxed, spacious and family friendly with lots of benches to sit on for tired shoppers.
Last Sunday, we took advantage of their free Easter activity for kids. We arrived early 11am to register.
Ashton got a free Easter cookie which he ate while waiting for the event to start.
Kids can choose from decorating their own easter basket, bunny ears, and Easter plasters that turn into fridge magnets.
Ashton chose the basket option. The venue got crowded with kids quickly, I bet a lot of parents skipped the registration! Ashton and I settled on one of the higher tables to finish his basket.
Then free twisty balloons for everyone! Ashton got a puppy shaped balloon. The activity ends there, not bad for a free activity. There’s face painting at 2pm but Ashton doesn’t want anything on his face.
For lunch we tried Hermana for the first time. Lucky us the resto gives Easter eggs to kiddie patrons, Ashton got a colorful egg. At last his basket is no longer empty.
Enjoyed their calamansi juice, sinigang, and gising-gising. Hermana was also playing family friendly movies like Night of the Museum Part 3 which kept our mini family entertained while eating.
All in all we had a great Easter at Ayala Mall Serin, after lunch we walked to Lourdes Church for the Easter mass and even got to witness an Easter baptism 🙂
