On Friday, someone asked me if I had anything fantastic up for the weekend. I imagined myself somewhere nice, maybe strolling in a park out of town or enjoying an extravagant dinner with my spouse. But my weekend turned out better than that. It was another couple of restful days spent at home and I am not being sarcastic. I am really starting to enjoy this living with less thing and it is getting easier for me to adapt.
On Saturday afternoon I made a revised version of my tuna sandwich. Ashton, Az, and I enjoyed eating it while sitting on our living room floor. We also watched an old movie right after Ashton slept. We spent most of the time in the living room and the local TV programs were not disappointing either. There was a segment about coffee and this was something my husband and I mutually like so we ended up making a cup for ourselves and I took out some cupcakes that were gifted to us. Ashton was not late in joining our midnight snack, I even think he enjoyed it the most and his sippy cup was in between mommy and daddy’s mugs 🙂
Today, Sunday I just cooked our favorite spaghetti and my entire family (especially my aunt Helen) enjoyed watching National Geographic’s Mega Factory special featuring Coca-cola.
I am continuing my goal to spend less and less but I plan to go on a picnic trip with my family as soon as the sun starts to shine.
