Home and Living: Have you tried at home massages?

My weekend list included calling for a therapist to give me a home massage. I prefer this now rather than dressing up and going to the spa just to get my aching muscles a treat. However, I was informed that they had a long list of waiting clients this weekend. Poor me because my back is killing me and my wrists require some TLC.

Anyway I am happy with the home service I am getting so far. What impresses me is whenever the therapists arrive in their uniforms and on time. To women who have spa businesses, I suggest for you to invest in scrubs that look neat and professional for your therapists. It says a lot about your service and gives a nice first impression.

For instance, we have this one clinic near my place and there’s a sign that a chiropractor is available. I am badly tempted to undergo a treatment but I saw that they did not have a medical lab coat. I turned my back and forgot about them.

Some tips to get the most of your home service massage:

1. Turn on the AC – I know electric bills are soaring but get the most out of your therapy by secluding yourself in a well airconditioned room. It gives you a spa ambiance and blocks off noise from outside.

2. Setup relaxing music – I like piano music which helps me relax more. I experienced one service from Mimelo Spa and their therapists come prepared with sounds, candles, and aromatic scents 🙂

3. Tell your staff or housemates you are having a massage – tell them what time the massage is expected to finish for security purposes and so they do not bother you during this time.

This holy week, I wish I can get another home service massage and relax to the fullest!
