I used to wear sunblock everyday until I stopped seeing my dermatologist in lieu of mommy duties. If you’re a mom like me and dropped the “beauty” ball sometime ago, you are not alone.
2015 is the year I promised to take care of my health & wellbeing. Applying sunblock daily is a tiny step but it’s a start! My husband recently had his warts removed at Luminisce Global City clinic and I found this sunblock at home.
My old sunblock from Caraderme in Makati was in clear gel form. This one I realize is tinted, here’s hoping it is friends with my sensitive, now super clogged skin.

The Luminisce sunblock is surprisingly light and with very good “spreadability”. I read though we shouldn’t be cheap with sunblock so I applied more than 1 layer.
Upon application, I noticed how it evened the appearance of my skin tone – like wearing a light foundation. I’m happy with the unexpected nice effect but my fingers are still crossed it won’t clog my skin.
Post gardening: I washed my face with water but the product remains which is a good thing. Should I reapply? I am not sure but my skin still benefits from the matte-powdered look from this sunblock even after washing. I think I’d reapply after lunch before attending my 4 year old’s moving up ceremony ⛅️
I will update this post with observations on whether or not the sunblock caused anything undesirable, like more breakouts (hope not!). I might visit the Luminisce clinic next week to see a dermatologist and finally deal with my clogged pores.
