I was recently invited to a summer event and the first thing I thought of was that I do not have anything to wear! The event is happening tomorrow at Anvaya Cove and my husband said that for sure, we will be given time for some R&R which includes dipping ourselves in the pool or beach.
Maternity Swimwear from Cococabana
Luckily, we were inside SM Megamall and I bumped into a brand called Cococabana at the department store. They sure have lots of choices for pregnant ladies who want to enjoy summer time as well. I tried on this black and pink one piece swimsuit which I loved – it covered up my belly which is now 7 months big and looked decent enough to make anyone feel comfy without feeling out of place.
Adjustable straps go around the neck
When I was in my first and second trimester, I still got away by wearing two piece bikinis with a tank top. Now, my tank top won’t fit and my breasts are running over the cups of my old bikini.
Aside from Cococabana, there are other swimwear brands I saw that had maternity swimwear. They range from Php 1,300-2,000. The one I like costs Php 900 and I am hoping my husband gets it for me in time for tomorrow.
Shopping for swimwear while pregnant could get you down because obviously the pieces you would get are a far cry from those skinny bikinis you used to wear. Everywhere is a reminder of your old body x.x But then again, I only have 2 months more to go, for now I will enjoy this trend called pregnancy 😀
