Here’s another location to add to your mom list. The Venice Piazza at McKinley Hills has a covered playground amidst rows of restaurants. You know I am always on the lookout for kiddie friendly places where mums and bubs can both enjoy. Here are some photos of Ashton enjoying his time.
And after his playtime, in between them actually, we experienced The Food Adventure which happens all weekends of July.
Ashton and I shared this delicious quesadilla, just one of the 12 food items you can enjoy with a PHP 500 food adventure passport.
Ashton was very awake throughout the day and night. Here he is waiting for the food to be served at Kuse. I always bring a tub of bubbles, and his Dad – Ashton’s PSP to keep him busy.
Aside from the playground, Venice Piazza is famous for the large fountain which will mesmerize your kids day and night. If you come early, you can feed the resident pigeons at 4PM. Seeds are sold for P20 per envelope and it is a good way to connect kids with real birds (and not the virtual angry birds they know of). We did not catch the feeding session but the pigeons were flying low and Ashton joined me in clapping to call the birds.
Watch out for the funny mimes that sound like they are chirping, your kids may get startled but slowly introduce the mimes to them and hopefully, the kids will find them interesting.
There are really a lot of activities that you and your family can busy yourself with at Venice Piazza, it’s a good way to spend that elusive family time. This month is the most perfect to go here because of the famous Food Adventure. Click on the link to read my separate post about it 🙂
P.S. This is Mommy and Ashton’s order slip for Sol Gelato. Ashton is now a certified gelato monster.
