Pregnant and Walking

Staying at home doing housework can leave one exhausted but it’s just not enough to burn all the extra calories pregnant women consume. Especially during the second trimester when morning sickness is gone and appetite increases to the max.

I also encountered skin problems last week that are just starting to go away. Walking is both the fitness and beauty solution I found! It’s easy, free, and enjoyable when done with your loved ones.


Walk around and take snap shots of your village

Walking in the afternoon, just before the sun sets is great. You’ll feel lighter and more active while making your blood circulation better. The result is a healthy pregnancy, calories burned, and more manageable skin. Alleluah!

Invite your partner to walk with you and take this chance to share your excitement with each other. You may also want to bring a camera to take shots of your surroundings should you find anything interesting. Azrael, my partner – walks with me when he’s not busy. This way, both mom and dad are contributing to an easier labor and delivery.
