It’s surprising how much vitamins expecting moms should take, when I first visited my OB I was overwhelmed with the number of tablets and capsules I should drink in every morning. But knowing that it was for a healthy baby, I started to look forward to these vitamins daily.
Depending on your OB, he/she will give you the vitamins you need. Mine is as follows:
1. Obimin Prenatal Vitamins
2. Vitamin C 500mgs
3. Calvit – Calcium + Vitamin D
4. Hemobion – Iron + multivitamins
I am glad that my Iron supplement and I are friends, most women vomit when they take Iron and so it should be taken when your morning sickness ends. When going out and shopping, I take Isoxilan which is a uterine relaxant. It’s also to be taken when you experience cramps or have signs of spotting.
