A family car sure saves the entire family from the stress of public transportation, especially when you are bringing kids along. Surely it is one of the family goals to have their own vehicle. Though realistically speaking, not everyone can afford so right away. Honestly speaking, I never bought my own vehicle yet. And I am blessed to be provided with by my mom.
I applaud parents who are able to take public transport and I sometimes dream of doing so when Ashton gets bigger. Public transport is cheaper but safety concerns for my child gets into my head. Speaking of safety, in my country – a child car seat is not a requirement. I doubt if my son can stay still in it too because he likes peeking at the window and transfer to and from me and his carer.
The one year old is getting trickier to sit down that I prefer taking the SUV instead but take into account that cars consumes less gasoline. One of my goals and dreams for the next 3 years is to buy my first SUV from my own pocket. If I were single, I will save for a Mazda 3 – always had a crush on that car. But of course, I can’t fit an entire bunch in it so I am aiming at the latest SUVs from Toyota or Honda.
When did you get your family car and what were your considerations?
