Spotted Cheska Garcia talking about how she upcycles old materials like socks, buttons, and hairclips to make dolls for daughters. I learned she is part of a new “Do More with Less” campaign of Electrolux. Her mom used to make one for her and her siblings, now she still remembers the handmade doll from her mom and does the same for her own children.
It’s really not the price of the toys that we give our children that matter but the time we actually spend creating things and playing with them.
